A Trader Personality
The Stoic

The Stoic

Calm and regulated — masters emotion, doesn't fake it.

The market moves; you don't. Your superpower isn't the absence of emotion — it's regulation. You feel the fear and greed like everyone, but they don't get to touch the mouse. Process over outcome, every session.

🧠 The behavioral bias

Your calm is real edge. The risk: so much rule-following that you miss intuitive signals a more adaptive trader would catch.

💪 Strengths
  • +Emotional regulation
  • +Consistent, mechanical execution
  • +Process-driven
⚠️ Watch out for
  • Can lack adaptability
  • May miss intuitive/discretionary signals
  • Routine can turn rigid

Which of the 9 types are you?

Frequently asked

What is the trader personality test?

A free 16-question self-assessment that estimates your trading archetype across 9 behavioral profiles used in the K.M.F. Trading Journal app — from the disciplined Sniper to the emotional Revenge Trader. It reveals your dominant behavioral bias and gives you three concrete fixes.

Do you store my answers or results?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your answers and result are saved only in your own browser (localStorage) so a page refresh does not lose them — nothing is ever sent to, or stored on, a server. There is no signup and no data collection.

How accurate is it?

It is a self-report estimate of the same trader archetypes the K.M.F. app computes automatically from your real trades (discipline, emotions, hold-time patterns, disposition effect). It is an excellent mirror and starting point — your true, data-driven profile comes from your actual trade history in the app.
